THE KILLERS ESTRENAN NUEVO SINGLE "LAND OF THE FREE"

The Killers desvelaban anoche un nuevo tema, “Land Of The Free”, con un video dirigido por el director premiado por la Academia, Spike Lee. Grabado en sus estudios Battle Born de Las Vegas, Nevada y producido por Jacknife Lee, con voces góspel adicionales de la co-arreglista vocal Lynn Mabry así como de Dorian Holley, Will Wheaton, Sherree Patrice Brown, Akasha Mabry y de las vocalistas de la gira de The Killers, Amanda Brown, Danielle René Withers y Erica Canales.

The Killers invitaron a Spike Lee a realizar el video de la canción, un sentido lamento inspirado por acontecimientos actuales y tragedias acaecidas en USA.

La banda otorgó a Spike Lee completo control creativo sobre el clip que se filmó durante un par de semanas a finales del 2018, desplazándose a la frontera con México para captar escenas de familias migrantes intentando llegar a la tierra de la libertad.
Desde 2004 The Killers han editado 5 álbumes de estudio y un puñado de singles de éxito. Cada uno de sus discos ha entrado al #1 de la lista oficial de ventas y su trabajo más reciente, - Wonderful, Wonderful – les ha supuesto su primer #1 en U.S.A. La banda acaba de terminar su gira mundial en grandes recintos. Spike Lee ha sido galardonado por la Academia con el premio Oscar Honorario, un Premio Especial BAFTA y un Cesar Honorario. Su última película, BlacKkKlansman, obtuvo el Gran Premio del Festival Internacional de Cine de Cannes en 2018.
